About us
The Hypatia project was created to address the digital gender gap, a critical issue often overlooked in public policies and traditional digital literacy programs. The project focuses on a frequently invisible and marginalized group: housemakers, women engaged in unpaid caregiving work due to family responsibilities. These women not only face institutional and social discrimination but are also particularly vulnerable to various forms of online violence, including cyberbullying, hate speech, body shaming, sextortion, and revenge porn.
